Back to the Womb

I bet if you carefully observe, you would notice that humans are the only species on earth that never stop innovating, seeking to improve our self-defining life quality. Most of us work so hard, soak ourselves in sweat and blood that we could ignore pains and fatigue. To most of us, our hopes lie in the future but not in the present.

We built our faith not on the unseen but on our physical experiences.

I used to justify why I love workout so much? It's because of fairness. You will see results if you show up. Unlike life, you could end up seeing nothing and getting nothing after giving everything you had. It's easier to deal with weight plates than people. Peoples are unexpected and fickle, weight doesn't. However, in another word, it's also saying that my value is built upon my self-defined justiceness, not upon how nature is supposed to operate.

Our way as humans is to take control over everything instead of letting it operates on its own. Take an example of our front yard garden. We took our time to manage it in a way that we would kill all the insects and reptiles that inhabited there to plant what we desired. To do it, we have to also kill what grew up naturally such as weeds and grasses. The amount of pesticides and herbicides we used stopped bees from coming, the chance of natural pollination through insects is almost zero now due to our intervention. For us, the natural jungle ecosystem that allows lives to go on is chaotic, we prefer our little garden that is not sustainable without anthropogenic intervention.

We dislike everything that we do not fully understand and couldn't control.

According to the Bible, our eyes first opened the moment when Eve and Adam chose to follow their own desire in the Garden of Eden. They chose to eat the forbidden fruit despite being warned by God. God chased them out from the Garden in the aftermath, and since then we are all cursed to struggle for our daily provisions and a day on earth. Because of the broken relationship, humans have to reinvent our sense of security as God has shut his face up from us.

To attain this sense of security, there are now only two ways left for us. The first is through materialism. In the Bible, the love of money is the root of all evils. People who follow after it is also known to follow "the prince of the air" aka. the ruler of the world as their newfound faith. That's why some people literally worship Satan and believe they will be granted wealth and power. Some did become riched, but most are consumed by this newly found faith.

In Malaysia, we witnessed a horrific murder case of Dr. Mazlan in 1993 committed by Mohamad Nor Affandi and Mona Fandey. Fandey started up as a pop singer and after ended her career, she became a "bomoh" or better known as a witch doctor. Her customers described her as a powerful witch who is extremely creepy in action. A movie was made after her after the trial, know as the "Dukun." The movie is being censored for almost 10 years in Malaysia before it was recently released.

Due to the craving for power, Dr. Mazlan, a politician in Malaysia decided to pay Fandey and her husband a large sum of money during the 90's, a 2.5 million ringgit Malaysia for an Indonesian staff or "Tongkat" previously owned by President Sukarno due to the belief that the staff could make him invincible. However, the deal ended tragically when Mona Fandey decapitated Dato Mazlan in a ritual designed to test his invincibility. Dato Mazlan died a horrific death. Without remorse, the couple ate parts of his body, withdrew his money from the bank, and went on a shopping spree like nothing had happened. However, they were caught 20 days after the murder, and both were sentenced to death by hanging. In November of 2001, they were executed and the last sentence uttered by Mona Fandey was "I will never die."

In this case, both Dato Mazlan and the couple paid their lives at where they think they could lie their securities. However, they didn't notice it could cost their lives and they chose to hold on to their newfound "faith" to their last breath.

I would say most of the females who put their faith in materialism are much extreme; unlike men, they are willing to exchange their bodies for wealth. That is why prostitution is a business by itself, not because they have to do it, but the deal is so tempting that it could almost label any girl with a price. This is also why most of the women would naturally be attracted to a rich gentleman.

A girl could easily fall for Bill Gates though he is almost 70 yo. Not because he is handsome or nice, but beacuse he is rich and resourceful.

Not every man lusts for money, but almost every man can fall for a woman. The War of Trojan was fought because of Helen. The Battle between Rama and Ravana was fought over Sita. The Dynasty of Shang ended because of Daji, the favorite consort of Emperor Zhou. A poor man would exchange his property for sex with a woman. This made the parallel reason why prostitution works because there will always be faithful customers, who are willing to take risks being infected by STD, of destroying their own family, career, and reputations.

The safest place we have ever been since we were created was the wombs. Being cut off from the Garden of Eden, the safest place we hope to go back is the womb. Women found their consort in materialism, willing to exchange their bodies for money, whereas men found it in the womb, willing to exchange their money to get closer to it, through the birth canal. Subconsciously, an adult man couldn't resist women's breasts and nipples that reminded them of the breastfeeding period. That was the time when they felt loved the most, well taken care of by their parents and the surrounding people.

To conclude, this post discusses about the males and females nature on how we find comforts and securities in this fallen world. Though sounds illicit, this gave a little insights into males' and females' perspectives before we talk about its application next week! Hope you enjoy the reading!

Till then!
